Wisconsin Watercolor Way: Week of February 9, 1998

Its been quiet in Mineral Point, but I don't mind. I've had time formatting and framing and general catch up work in the gallery. I've madeseveral new cards. The one below is of Jail Alley in Mineral Point. Thelarge white building in the painting is Jail Alley House, Ron Fay's antiqueshop.

Jail Alley card, $2.25 plus shipping (USA dollars)

I also made a card of a second pansy painting I've done and another of yellowprimroses.

Pansy #2 card, $2.25 plus shipping (USA dollars)

Primrose card, $2.25 plus shipping (USA dollars)

These cards cause me to think of spring. I have grow lights on, and my pansiesfor this year are already up. So are some prairie cone flowers I'm growingfor my property. And we've had such a mild winter that just this morningI noticed the yellow primrose peeking above the ground in the garden. TheCardinals are also beginning to sing their spring song--spring can't befar off.
